OUR WORK

We work to transform teaching and learning around the world, to benefit children and youth from disadvantaged communities.

We partner to design and test on-the-job supports for teachers to transform their lesson activities and interactions with students about academic content.

Our work focuses especially on peer-facilitated collaborations among teachers to plan and study ambitious lessons with meaningful and effective interactions in the classroom. Our designs for productive collaborations center on peer observations among teachers.

Our work includes:

  • DESIGNING materials such as observation rubrics and team inquiry protocols 
  • BUILDING CAPACITY through workshops for teachers, instructional coaches, and school leaders
  • CONSULTING with school leaders and education authorities to establish working conditions for productive collaborations
  • RESEARCHING teacher collaborations, qualities of teaching, and impacts on students to refine our processes and products to enhance the scale and sustainability of our impact.
